Happy 50th Anniversary to Rezinal nv!

On this special day, we turn the pages back to Thursday, March 7, 1974, a remarkable day when the articles of association were officially signed at the notary, marking the birth of Rezinal nv. Founded by the brothers Tom and Rob de Boer, this was more than just a business endeavor; it was a visionary leap towards sustainable industrial zinc recycling practices.

They set out to transform zinc skimmings from hot-dip galvanizing plants into something valuable, and by April 1975, Rezinal was proud to have produced its first batch of secondary zinc. Later in the 1980s, they began processing old roofing zinc sheets. Sure, those initial years threw challenge after challenge at us, but the undying spirit of the De Boers, coupled with our dedicated team and the support of our partners, turned Rezinal into a leading name in the zinc recycling sector.

Fast forward to today, and it’s clear we’ve done more than just succeed. We’ve built a beacon of innovation, sustainability, and excellence in the zinc recycling industry, and that’s something we’re all incredibly proud of.
Here's to Rezinal nv, to all of us, and to the many more milestones we'll reach together. Cheers!
