Last week, our colleague Stijn Aerts, Safety Manager at Rezinal, had the privilege of attending the Voka Sustainable Business Day, where the spotlight was on the European Green Deal - the most significant sustainability package launched globally in recent years. Europe has set clear sustainability goals, and it's imperative for everyone, including businesses, to play their part.
During the event, Rezinal's pilot project was explained, highlighting the company's remarkable efforts in reducing emissions. The importance of calculating the climate cost as a guiding factor for future investments was also outlined. It was an enlightening day filled with insights from experts and fellow entrepreneurs.
At the end of the event, all SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) companies were recognized, and Rezinal was honored with the prestigious SDG Champion certificate. We are immensely proud to be one of the three Limburg-based companies receiving this recognition, marking the culmination of our five-year journey dedicated to sustainability initiatives.
Our commitment to sustainability doesn't end here. We are now setting our sights on becoming an SDG Ambassador, further deepening our impact on the path to a greener and more sustainable future.
