Voka – Chamber of Commerce Limburg and the province of Limburg are committed to tackle the shortage of skilled technical personnel with their project ‘Technology Promotion’.

31 companies in Limburg have committed themselves to discover and stimulate technical talent in the province. These companies received a sign of special recognition for their contribution to the growth of wealth in the region.

Johann Leten, Chief Executive Officer Voka – KvK Limburg explains: “The purpose of the ‘Charter for Technology Promotion' is to promote technical education and to increase the intake of new students for technical subjects. In doing so, we want to thoroughly tackle the shortage of skilled technical personnel. The industry in Limburg surely has a strong interest in this and it certainly could offer them growth opportunities.”

31 companies, of which Rezinal, committed themselves to promote engineering and technical training among children, parents and schools.

By ‘Technology Promotion’ children have the opportunity to discover and develop their technical talents. Additionally, children, parents and teachers learn about the wide range of opportunities and perspectives in engineering. The action plan includes the organization of Voka - First Lego League in Limburg and other awareness-raising tools such as company visits and profiling of role models.

Rezinal received a certificate at the residence of the Governor of Limburg on April 24 as a sign of special recognition for its contributions to this project.
